Ouch it burns! Every time you cook, do you get oil splashes?
Do not panic ! No need to buy an anti-splash plate to avoid burning yourself...
Fortunately, my grandmother gave me a clever and effective trick to avoid hot oil splashes.
The trick that works is to put salt in the pan before pouring in the oil . Super easy! Watch:
1. Put a pinch of salt in the pan.
2. Pour the oil into a frying pan as usual.
3. Heat it up.
4. Drop your food into the pan without splashing.
There you go, thanks to kitchen stuff, no more hot oil splashes :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
Concretely, the cooking oil no longer fizzes when you put the food in the hot pan.
No more burning when cooking!
Now you are sure not to get oil splashed in your eye or on your face.
It's still less dangerous that way, isn't it?
Not only do you no longer get oil splatters when you cook, but your stove will also stay cleaner longer.
As the oil doesn't squirt all over the place, you have less housework to do:no need to clean the greasy gas stove or the spitty backsplash.
And this trick works, whatever food you cook:vegetables, meat or fish!
And of course, it is effective for all types of oil:olive oil, peanut oil, rapeseed oil...
The splashes come from the water coming into contact with the oil.
This is the water contained in food or vegetables that are still moist.
When water comes in contact with hot oil, it splashes and squirts.
As a result, there is grease everywhere in the kitchen and you risk burning yourself.
The salt put in the pan retains the fat and this reaction cannot take place.
