All you need is white vinegar. Watch the video:
- 5 volumes of water
- 1 part white vinegar
- 1 large bowl
- Paper towel or other paper towel
- 1 strainer
1. Mix the white vinegar and water in the large bowl. Ex:100 ml of vinegar for 500 ml of water
2. Soak the strawberries in this mixture for a few minutes.
3. Cover the colander with paper towel and place the strawberries on it.
4. Let the strawberries air dry or pat them gently with the paper towel.
There you go, you know the trick to keep your strawberries longer :-)
Easy, fast and effective, right?
Remember to dry your strawberries well so that bacteria cannot grow on them.
Once dry, you can store them in the refrigerator on paper towels.
Now you can enjoy delicious fresh strawberries for days and sometimes even 1-2 weeks!
