Homemade iced tea can be made with all the ingredients you like best and it is healthier than iced tea from a carton.
How to make iced tea
1. Make a pot of tea and let it steep with four tea bags. Iced tea can be a bit stronger than regular tea. You really don't like that? Then use fewer tea bags.
2. Toss some fruit, mint, basil, or ginger into the steeped tea pitcher. You can optionally add sugar or honey to sweeten the iced tea.
3. Let the tea cool in the fridge.
Tip for quick iced tea
Don't feel like letting the iced tea cool down for a long time? Then only fill a quarter of the pitcher with boiling water. Let the tea steep and then add cold water and ice cubes.
