With the Marley Spoon food box, you can serve Arabian chicken, Syrian stuffed aubergines or Pakistani chicken curry in the coming month.
The recipes are from eight refugees who share dishes from their homeland as guest chefs with Marley Spoon. The profit from the dishes sold by the guest chefs benefits the organization Uber den Tellerrand kochen.
You can order a food box on the Marley Spoon website. You can select a number of dishes per week. Until mid-January you can choose from two recipes from a guest chef every week.
In the week of December 14, for example, you can opt for Arabic rice with chicken, almonds and raisins from guest chef Azad Sultan. Azad has fled Syria because of the political unrest and violence. Since then he has lived briefly in Turkey, Jordan, Russia and Vietnam. He has been living in Germany for several months.
