Sea Buckthorn Root Ginger Smoothie

Do you already know this smoothie? We think it's quite tasty, and healthy too. The sea buckthorn only blooms in August/September, but sea buckthorn juice from a bottle is enough for the recipe.


FOR 4 PERSONS
COOKING TIME 10 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS

2 oranges

2 carrots

2 small bananas

2 tsp candied ginger

2 tbsp honey

250 ml sea buckthorn juice

250 ml carrot juice

500 g crushed ice

Additional Needs:
blender or food processor


PREPARATION Cut off the peel of the oranges so thickly that all the white is gone. Then cut the oranges into slices. Peel the carrots thinly and grate them. Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces. Roughly chop the ginger. Place all chopped ingredients with the honey and sea buckthorn carrot juice in the blender or food processor
Mix everything smooth. Add the ice and mix well again. Pour into 4 glasses and serve immediately.
