Want to prepare Brussels sprouts in the slow cooker? Which can. In fact, it is even very tasty. And that's what someone says who isn't really crazy about Brussels sprouts (me). However, there are a few family members who really like Brussels sprouts, which means that the demand for Brussels sprouts on the table comes up repeatedly. Today I made the Brussels sprouts in the slow cooker, and it tasted a lot better than from the pan.
The dish for which you will find the slow cooker recipe below is a one-pan dish with Brussels sprouts. A healthy recipe, that too and because I didn't put potatoes in it myself, it's also fairly low in carbohydrates.
Tip:I think this recipe is also delicious with some potatoes in it.
Like many other slow cooker recipes, this Brussels sprouts recipe is easy peasy.
I would fry the bacon separately and then serve them with it, but you can also just put them in the slow cooker with the Brussels sprouts from the start. Then they just get a bit soft instead of crispy.
In the above case, I forgot to add the bacon at the end, you run that risk 😉 . But even without bacon, the slow cooker Brussels sprouts were delicious!
