Making delicious chocolate fudge in the slow cooker

I make sweet dishes from the slow cooker less quickly than the other slow cooker dishes. But it can be done very well and is also very tasty. For example, I once made a slow cooker cake (very tasty) and cinnamon rolls in the slow cooker. I have never made a slow cooker fudge before, but luckily Jolanda Wessels gave me this delicious recipe.

Make your own slow cooker fudge

This is the easiest sweet recipe I have so far for the slow cooker on the site, you really only need to do a few steps to make this delicious slow cooker fudge. And then your emotional food is ready 😉 . After that, the whole thing has to cool down for a while, but then it is already ready.

Ingredients slow cooker fudge

The ingredients below are therefore based on Jolanda's recipe, but you can easily vary these ingredients and add some nuts, for example. Or bacon, or crumbled lady fingers. It's all up to you! As basic ingredients for the slow cooker fudge you need at least the following:

  • 1 can of (condensed) milk
  • 200 grams of white chocolate
  • 200 grams of milk chocolate
  • 40 grams of butter

This slow cooker fudge also contains the following ingredients:

  • splash of licor 43
  • decoration caramel

Make your own slow cooker fudge

Place all ingredients (except the caramel) in the slow cooker and melt on high without the lid. Stay close by for best results as it is smart to stir in the slow cooker every 5 minutes. Until everything is melted. So you also add the liqueur to this recipe, but leave out the caramel decoration for a while.

A bit more convenient than letting things melt in a bain marie, isn't it?

When everything has melted, put baking paper in a bowl where you pour the fudge from the slow cooker. In principle, the shape does not matter of course, but the above 'cake mold' of the fudge is easy to dose.

Finally, sprinkle the caramel pieces on top. You can also stir them through of course, then you get a more mixed fudge.

Let it cool for a while and then put it in the fridge for a while to really cool down. At least an hour and your fudge from the slow cooker is ready!
