Are you also such a doubter when it comes to your breakfast? In any case, I am not a sandwich eater for my breakfast and I do like a bit of variety. That is why I recently prepared an apple oatmeal breakfast in the slow cooker. That is something different than a cracker with herb cheese or a bowl of yogurt with kiwi. Also delicious, but to keep the variety in this apple breakfast is definitely recommended.

Do you have a slow cooker? Then I would definitely prepare this apple oatmeal breakfast in it. Can you prepare it the night before? If you have a timer on your slow cooker, just set it, otherwise just turn it on. It still shoots on the keep warm setting so you don't have to worry about that.
At the bottom I also give you the preparation for the airfryer or oven if you don't have a slow cooker, but first the ingredients.
The ingredients below are certainly enough for 2 people.
If you have a real sweet tooth, you can add some sugar or sweetener if you want. But it's actually not really necessary. Nice, yes 😉 . The taste of this delicious apple oatmeal breakfast actually matches this apple pie!
Tip:If you want to sprinkle something festive over it when it's ready, a little coconut grater is very tasty.
If you have a slow cooker I would use it. You actually work in the same way as the peach cobbler, of which you can also find my recipe on the website.
Peel the apples and put them in the slow cooker. Add the oats, flour, cinnamon and optionally the sugar. Stir together and place the slices of butter on top. Place a tea towel around the lid of the slow cooker (to stop dripping moisture) and set the slow cooker on low for 4 hours. Then you can enjoy yourself!
The procedure is basically the same as above. Put all ingredients in an oven dish and put it in the oven at 180° for about 20 minutes. Then your apple oatmeal breakfast is ready! Enjoy your meal!
Of course you can also prepare this breakfast in the airfryer. Actually as easy as in the oven because you don't have to preheat the entire oven for just breakfast. You do have to check whether the amount fits in the tray in the airfryer.
It fits exactly in my airfryer XXL. By the way, don't make the mistake of putting these ingredients in the standard basket;), you do need the baking tray that you see above. This is one of the ideal airfryer accessories that I have and use often.
Set the airfryer to 150° and your apple oatmeal breakfast is ready in 15 minutes!
