A possibility of delight! And good news, it is simple to make; All you need is a little milk, egg, flour and sugar! Otherwise, no particular operation, the magic happens during cooking. A delicacy to savor immediately!

1 / Heat the milk with the open vanilla pod. Separate the egg whites and yolks. Whisk the yolks with the sugar and water until the mixture whitens.
2 / We preheat the oven to 150°C (We use a traditional oven rather than a convection oven which tends to heat up too much!)
3 / Melt the butter, then let it cool down before incorporating it into the preparation. Then mix the flour and salt, add the milk and vanilla while whisking.
4 / Whip the egg whites and incorporate them into the mixture. Be careful, the dough is liquid so we use a whisk so as not to break them completely. This is the most delicate phase (the one that allows you to obtain the sponge cake!) So be careful not to completely dissolve the whites in the preparation, there must be lumps.
5 / Pour the preparation into a mold not too wide (20.22 or 24 cm max) with high sides. Bake at 150°C for 50 min.
