Perhaps you have tasted it in one of the 600 pubs, restaurants or delicatessens where it is marketed. Or maybe not. In which case, we will soon be able to discover and buy Pimento at Monoprix.
What is that ? A unique drink made from ginger, tonic and chilli, and with natural flavors, gluten-free and allergen-free, and… made in France! In short, a soft drink that we will love shopping at Monoprix from June 15, 2016 with, for the occasion, a new rounder, fruitier and even more gourmet recipe.
Its originality? The sensation during the tasting is done in two stages:you feel the sweetness of the ginger then the strength of the pepper. It also has a 30% reduced sugar content compared to other sodas. In short, it is "round as lemonade, nasty as a spirit", says its Parisian creator Eric Dalsace.
