Food porn in sight! After macaroons, hot chocolate and cheesecake, the unicorn theme has not finished inspiring gourmets around the world. Latest trend:the Unicorn Parade, an explosive-looking milkshake imported from the United States. Sold in the New Territories dessert shop in New York, the little marvel takes up the formula that continues to prove itself:multicolored pearls, pastel marshmallow, whipped cream... And as usual, it makes its little effect!
The milkshake is made of ice cream from the Van Leeuwen brand (very popular across the Atlantic) and ube (pronounced "ou-bé"), a mauve-colored sweet potato from the Philippines, which is boiled then mixed with butter and condensed milk (yum!). The whole thing is decorated with rainbow and heart-shaped marshmallows, and served in a large jar half-covered with chocolate sprinkles.
