The expression "spread" awakens guilty thoughts in us:we dream of chocolate galore, toast and snacks that never end. And what follows is likely to delight lovers of sweets:after the chocolate butter made in New Zealand, it is the Oreo-flavored spread that could soon be marketed (even better than beer and the chocolate bar with the taste of famous black and white cookie, right?). It is within the framework of the “My Oreo Creation Contest”, a competition on social networks which lets Internet users submit their ideas as to the next flavor of the candy, that the spread was proposed by pastry chef Dominique Ansel.
The man, who lives in New York, has therefore developed a product that combines two layers of dark chocolate ganache sprinkled with pieces of Oreo cookies, separated by a layer of milk ganache. Yum ! The pot, meanwhile, has of course the circular shape of the little sweetness, without forgetting the lid which takes up the small illustrations found on the upper part of the Oreo. If no statement has been made about the future marketing of the product, one thing is certain:it will be distributed free of charge (yes!) at Dominique Ansel's pastry shop located in Manhattan this weekend, June 10 and 11, 2017 Consider us if you're visiting the Big Apple and manage to get your hands on this wonder! We are patiently waiting for it to make its way to the French shelves...
