Who has never plunged their finger with relish into a jar of spread? If this gesture is excessively pleasant, it is neither elegant nor hygienic... So that we can continue to grant ourselves this little pleasure, the British design studio Michel/Fabian has thought of an unusual accessory which recreates this feeling and which enhances the taste of food.
This one-of-a-kind spoon called “Goûte” was created by designer Andreas Fabian and chef Charles Michel. Its name is a mixture of the French words "goutte" and "goute", in reference to its shape. Designed to be dipped in yogurt, honey, spread or chocolate mousse, this spoon improves the feeling of hydration, the intensity of sweet flavors, highlights the taste of food and allows you to live a more conscious dining experience.
This human finger-shaped object is the result of research carried out with the Crossmodal Research Laboratory at the University of Oxford. According to the tests carried out, the taste of food would be enhanced by 40% thanks to this spoon, sold for 21 euros in the wooden version and 34 euros in the glass version. This is what makes you want!
