The menus are lighter and the drink is not included. Some offer a formula with 2 courses:starter/main course or main course/dessert, others the classic starter/main course/dessert. There is also a “market return” menu, established according to the products of the day. These formulas are often only valid for lunch, on weekdays and excluding public holidays.
Salmon, lamb confit with grilled vegetables and a dessert “like a black forest”, guaranteed pleasure for €48 at L’Amphitryon (2*, Colomiers, Haute-Garonne). Le Bateau Ivre (2*) offers a menu back from the market:starter, desert main course for €42, with a big bonus:the view of the lake and Mount Revard. At La Braisière (1*), in Paris, you can taste Cocotte de chipirons cooked a la plancha, sautéed milk-fed lamb from the Pyrenees and Citrus fruits and white chocolate with bergamot for €40.
