How to Impress my Guests For Less than 2€50 per Person with my Tuna Tartare with Aioli!

I love sharing a good meal with my friends. Only here, sometimes, I dry out on the menu… With my tuna tartare with aioli, I am sure not only to impress my guests, but also to cook at a lower cost.

To prepare or to taste, you may have guessed it, I love tartars! Fresh and easy to make, my tuna tartare with aioli is a safe bet! Follow the guide!

Here are my Ingredients for 4 People:

  • 2 cans of natural tuna
  • 2 lemons
  • 3 shallots
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ yellow pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 small sprig of chives and parsley
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 25 cl of oil
  • Salt and pepper

I'm Preparing My Aioli

I peel my garlic cloves and pound them until pureed.

I add my egg yolk, a pinch of salt and pepper. I then pour in my olive oil in a small trickle to make my preparation rise like mayonnaise.

I add a teaspoon or two of warm water and squeeze a few drops of lemon.

I pour into a sauce boat and keep cool.

I'm Preparing My Tuna Tartare

In a salad bowl, I crush my natural tuna into crumbs and I sprinkle it with the lemon juice I reserve it for two hours in the fridge.

I cut my peppers into small cubes, I finely chop my herbs and shallots. I incorporate everything into my tuna and adjust my seasoning.

I shape little tuna tartare steaks and put them on my plates. I can present them on a bed of salad to bring a touch of color to my dish. I eat them chilled with my aioli sauce. Let's eat!

With this original and easy-to-make recipe, I spend less than €10.00 (count around €3.50 for 2 cans of natural tuna of 200g, €1.00 for 2 lemons and €2.50 for 2 peppers) for 4 people , i.e. less than €2.50 per guest ! It would be a shame to deprive yourself of it!

Does all this whet your appetite? Me too ! Leave me your comments on this tartare recipe!
