Here is lunch and I don't know what to cook... Do not panic. My boyfriend just surprised me by cooking Argentinian peppers. A delight that I share with you.
Lunchtime meals are often a source of endless questions. "What are we eating?" I said last week, hoping for a tempting proposition. When it's finally a "I don't know" that comes from the end of the dining room, we always end up eating pasta. Yes, I love pasta, but as a balanced diet, we have known better.
What Can You Prepare in Less Than 10 Minutes and Enjoy?
My boyfriend said to me the last time:"Don't worry, I take care of everything!". I was a little scared, I admit... but when I saw him do it, I was quickly reassured and impressed. Argentinian peppers are very easy to make, and it's a change from my usual pasta.
How to Succeed your Argentinian Peppers?
1. Ingredients. For 2 people, take 1 pepper, two slices of special hamburger cheese, 2 eggs, 2 slices of raw ham or bacon.
2. Preperation. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Cut the pepper in 2 and remove the seeds inside. Put the slice of special hamburger cheese on it. Then, add the slice of bacon or raw ham. Finally, finish with the egg you just cracked into the pepper.
3. Let everything cook in the oven. It's ready when the egg is well cooked and no longer runny.
A Good Alternative to Lunches
I finally found an alternative to pasta, I'm delighted. I was getting tired of always eating the same thing for the good and simple reason that I don't have time to cook. It's very simple to make and it's not expensive at all. I'm going to enjoy myself, just the smell, I'm salivating. Bon appetit.
What do you do for lunch to break the routine? Tell me your little secrets in the comments, and tell me if you've tried my recipe.
For €2 , you can have a tray of raw ham for 4 people. Peppers cost next to nothing except $0.99 for a set of 3, and you only need one for 2 people on top of that.
Thus, you can eat an excellent recipe and ready in 10 min for less than 5 €. We can finally say goodbye to pasta. So rather than spending €10 at a restaurant for lunch, you might as well take 10 minutes to cook your own meal. If you eat Argentine peppers once every 2 weeks instead of going to a restaurant, you save €130 over the year .
And I finally found a great opportunity to respect the rule:eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables a day. Today I start with peppers!
