For pastries, the calories vary according to the ingredients who compose them. Among the highest calories we find in first position the chocolate brownie with about 470 kcal per 100 gram, followed closely by the chocolate cake which contains 450 kcal/100g. Similarly, contrary to what one might think, a madeleine is much fattier and caloric than a macaron garnished (436 kcal/100 g) or an opera (400 kcal/100 g), although extremely chocolatey and creamy. The cheesecake and the mille-feuille end up at the end of the ranking.
