The new cookbook Un Buku is a tribute to the Surinamese food culture. Un Buku focuses on the cuisines of the different population groups of Suriname:Creole, Javanese, Chinese and Hindustani. Ten families share their stories and family recipes, which have been passed down from generation to generation. With classic dishes such as pom and stuffed roti, but also bitterballen of cod, corn biscuits and samosas.
