Twice a year Frites Atelier presents the new Frites Specials, which originated from flavor combinations devised by Sergio. Inspired by previous travels and experiences in different cuisines, he created two Frites Specials with completely different flavors. From now on, Frites Atelier will serve the tasty 'Classic Spiced Indonesian Stew' and the vegetarian 'My Umami'.
All flavors of Indonesian cuisine come together in this Rendang special. From the homemade sambal, to sweet and sour pickled vegetables and earthy flavors of ginger, chili and coconut milk. The aromatic kaffir lime gives a fresh accent to this traditional Indonesian stew.
We welcome the colder months of the year with deep umami flavours. Black olive powder, hard-aged Ricotta, mushroom tapenade and our homemade truffle mayonnaise. Chopped chives and grated lemon zest complete this special.
In addition to the Frites Specials, Sergio comes up with more surprises on the Frites Atelier menu. For example, we exchange the current Beef Burger for the Cheddarcheese Burger. The brioche bun is topped with a grilled and juicy Black Angus burger topped with a combination of melted Cheddar and Parmesan cheese. The crispy lettuce, pickled Jalapeño peppers and homemade Samurai sauce complete this slightly spicy and tasty sensation!
Now the 'Apero Croquettes' are also available at Frites Atelier. With this you choose 'the best of both worlds'! These mini croquettes are made according to the same recipe as our shrimp, beef and cheese croquettes. Together with the matching homemade truffle and basil mayonnaise and tartar sauce, this trio is perfect for sharing or enjoying all the flavors!
Finally, there are our Chicken Chunks. The Chicken Chunks are a new, tasty snack on our menu! Together with our Classic Mayonnaise and The Chefs Ketchup, both young and old can enjoy these tasty crispy bites.
