Dried Fruit Shortbread


Ingredients:4 people

    300 g
  • walnut kernels
    50 g
  • shelled hazelnuts
    50 g
  • flaked almonds
    50 g
  • butter
    30g
  • liquid caramel
    4 tablespoons

Preheat the oven to th. 7 (210°C).

Unroll the dough and cut it into small equal disks with a rolling pin. Prick them with a fork and cook them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until they are golden brown. Take them out and let them cool.

Meanwhile, brown the walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds in a dry pan for 3 minutes. Spread them over the shortbread.

In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the caramel, mix with a spatula, and drizzle over the dried fruit.

Wait for the caramel to harden a bit and serve.

Note from the chef:You can use salted butter to prepare the caramel. Discreet, it goes very well with shortbread and dried fruit.
