Need to defrost meat quickly?
It's true that meat takes a long time to thaw.
So, if you're planning on cooking dinner for your friends tonight, don't panic!
There's a kitchen trick to defrost meat in 10 minutes without using a microwave or oven.
The trick is to use a pan filled with hot water:

1. Heat water in a saucepan to a temperature of 60°.
2. Turn off the fire.
3. Put the meat in a freezer bag.
4. Place bag in hot water.
There you go, the meat will defrost in 10 min about :-)
If it's chicken, allow about 12 minutes to thaw completely.
The advantage of this method is that the meat will not be cooked at all and bacteria will not be able to grow.
And it's still faster than leaving the meat to defrost in the open air!
