The cherry clafoutis is the most classic.
But it's the most expensive, too.
Did you know that the clafoutis could be declined to infinity?
The cheapest is the apple one.
Plus, it's delicious and easy to make.
- 4 golden apples
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 glass of milk
- 80g of flour
- 90g of sugar
- 1 tbsp. of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
1. Preheat your oven to 180° (th.6)
2. Peel and cut your apples into not too thick slices.
3. In a container, mix 80g of sugar, egg yolks, flour and salt.
4. Add the milk while mixing.
5. Put the apples, mix again.
6. Pour the mixture into a buttered gratin dish.
7. Put in the oven for about 20 min.
8. Remove the clafoutis from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 10g of sugar.
9. Put back in the oven for about 15 min.
Enjoy cold or warm.
Don't throw away your egg whites and make meringues out of them.
