All that fruit in a smoothie is of course healthy, but don't you fall into one of the pitfalls? With these tips you can keep your smoothies healthy.
1. Make sure you get enough protein and fiber Also use avocado, berries, kiwi, pear, beans or kale in your smoothies. For the proteins you can add soy milk, nuts or tofu.
2. Do not use extra sugar
Many people are so used to sweet drinks that a smoothie with only fruit seems too sour. Be careful with what you add:sugar, honey or sweetened yogurt can increase the number of calories.
3. Weigh your ingredients
A smoothie usually contains healthy ingredients, but that doesn't mean they are low in calories. The blender often fits 1 to 2 liters, so you quickly make too much. Don't fall into this trap and weigh your ingredients.
