How is that possible?
After tomatoes are picked, they still have a long way to go to the supermarket. Tomatoes are therefore picked before they are really ripe. During transport, they are kept cool, so that the tomatoes do not produce enough enzymes that provide the delicious taste. When you put tomatoes in warm water, they start to produce a lot of this enzyme.
