What to do with your Christmas leftovers

Do you have a lot of food left over from Christmas? With these tips you can read a leftover day and prevent food waste!

Vegetable soup

Do you have a lot of vegetables in the fridge that need to be used up quickly? Make it into a soup. You can also store the leftovers in a container in the freezer whenever you have leftover vegetables. By the time your bowl is full, you'll have enough to make soup. Serve the soup with French bread and you have a healthy and light meal.

Dinner for lunch

Many pastas are just as tasty cold, ideal for lunch the next day. You can make a salad from vegetables that you have left by adding arugula or spinach, for example. Or let a little couscous soak and mix the vegetables with it.

Well filled omelette or frittata

An omelet or frittata is an easy way to use up leftover vegetables, herbs, potatoes and leftover eggs.

Quiche or savory pie

You can vary endlessly with quiches and savory pies. Handy, because you can easily process leftovers in it.

Pasta sauce

You can use leftover vegetables in a homemade pasta sauce.

Curry

You may prefer to make your favorite curry dish with cauliflower, but other vegetables taste just as good with it.

Wake up

Toss different types of vegetables in a pan. Optionally with meat, noodles and of course wok sauce and you have prepared a complete meal from the leftovers you had in the fridge.
