Organized by Track the Truck, a website and application that allows you to locate food trucks around us, the first food truck festival took place along the Seine, on the Quai Branly until July 12, 2017. The organizers have selected around thirty of the best trucks in Paris, each of which has its own specialty and around ten of which are present every day in turn. Something to find happiness there.
The aim of the festival is to offer the curious affordable and quality cuisine in an ideal setting, between the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro. Admission is free, you can access a synthetic turf alley, shared between the various activities and the large communal tables where the smells of the ten food trucks present mingle. If you go there with friends, there is no risk of arguing over the menu, everyone chooses what they want the most and everyone gets together to eat casually. Self-proclaimed feast of gluttony, the festival promises menus between 10 and 15 euros and to make us travel in France thanks to several local specialties:oysters, mussels and fries, duck from the South-West... but especially in the world, with Canadian, Venezuelan, Thai, Lebanese specialties, etc. Without forgetting the typical street food dishes such as burgers, pizza, bagels, wraps and even waffles. Only problem:it may be difficult to choose! For those with a sweet tooth, there is also a mojito stand and sweet stands in this little corner of paradise.
Food trucks fest’, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, on the Quai Branly in Paris, every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., until Wednesday July 12, 2017 included.
