What would a pizza (and all the other dishes that never contain too much cheese, if you ask us) be without its slices of goat cheese or its melted emmental cheese? The 3 or 4 cheese pizza remains one of the most popular varieties in the world, and if you are a fan yourself, the one created by the American chefs of a Berlin pizzeria should give you stars eyes. Prepared in the Vadoli Pizzaria by Mirko and Andrea, the dish was recently entered in the Guinness Book of Records and for good reason, it contains… 111 different kinds of cheese and weighs 288.6 grams! To top it off, it can be eaten without difficulty (no thanks to force-feeding) since its creator made it a point of honor to fit this extraordinary topping on a normal-sized pizza.
To meet this bet, only 2.6 grams of each variety of cheese were included in the dish of Italian origin. The judges who came to discover this incredible creation were able to taste subtly placed portions of Emmental, mozzarella, Red Leicester (an English variety similar to Mimolette), Comté and raclette, among others. The lucky “tasters” declared that the portions had different flavors from each other, which also created a rather pleasant surprise effect, one imagines. So, would you feel like you could gobble up the cheesiest pizza in the world? From our side, no need to ask us twice!
