Recipe:3 x simple kombucha ice creams

So simple to make and so delicious! Of course you can buy ice cream in the store, but we promise you:it has never been so easy to make your own ice cream at home. Five minutes of preparation and after 6 hours of waiting you have tasty and also responsible ice creams to enjoy on a hot day. All you need is frozen fruit, your favorite kombucha and ice molds.

Wait, what is kombucha? More and more people are opting for tasty alternative soft drink substitutes. Kombucha is originally made from fermented green tea with only the best natural ingredients and therefore fits well with the health and alcohol-free trend. The GUTsy Captain's organic kombuchas are still made according to traditional recipes and are also low in calories. Because the brand has a wide range with delicious fruit flavors, it is very nice but also easy to make your own ice cream!

Blueberry kombucha pops
What do you need?
250 g frozen blueberries
250 ml The GUTsy Captain Kombucha Original
Ice molds
(optional:1 lemon)

Peach kombucha pops
What do you need?
250 g frozen peaches
250 ml The GUTsy Captain Kombucha Ginger &Lemon
Ice molds
(optional:1 lemon)

Raspberry kombucha pops
What do you need?
250 g frozen raspberries
250 ml The GUTsy Captain Kombucha Raspberry
Ice molds
(optional:1 lemon)

How to make
Put the kombucha, frozen fruit and juice of 1 lemon in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into the ice cream molds and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours.

Garnish: when you take the ice creams out of the freezer, you can decorate them super fun by, for example, dipping them in dark chocolate sprinkles or coconut grater.
Pro tip: if a slush puppy is more your style, just follow the recipes above and after mixing, pour the mixture straight into a glass instead of a popsicle mold. It's the perfect alternative to frozen margaritas, and we won't tell anyone if you add a splash of tequila.
