As an aperitif or as a starter, my tuna rillettes with tarragon always achieve the same success.
Simple to make, light in cost and calories, they are always welcome on my table.
They are fresh and deliciously fragrant and my guests always ask me for the recipe!
In addition, the preparation is super fast. There is no cooking time and the ingredients are easy to cook.
Here is an economical and super easy recipe to make. To be used throughout the year:
- 500 g natural tuna (canned)
- 3 tablespoons of fresh cream
- 2 teaspoons of mustard
- 3 plain Swiss rolls
- 4 tablespoons chopped tarragon
- 1 fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
1. Drain and finely crumble the tuna in a bowl.
2. Add the petit-suisses, fresh cream, mustard, lemon juice and tarragon.
3. Mix well, salt and pepper.
4. Pour the rillettes into a bowl and cover with cling film.
5. Leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
There you go, your tuna rillettes are already ready for the aperitif :-)
Served with slices of lightly toasted country bread or blinis, it's a delight!
I keep my tarragon for 2 or 3 days in my vegetable drawer in the refrigerator, wrapped in damp paper towel or placed in a perforated bag.
