Place your half-lemon on a saucer containing a little vinegar, flesh side down. Check out the trick here.
Sprinkle the lemon flesh with fine salt. The next time you use your lemon, remove the first slice of the salted lemon.
Immerse your lemon in a glass of water, submerged flesh down.
If you have removed the zest from the lemon, immerse it in a bowl filled with water. Change the water daily and store in the refrigerator.
