Garlic butter is delicious.
This little taste of parsley garlic butter, we especially like it with snails. But also with meats, such as steak, or fish.
But this garlic butter sauce, you can make it yourself. Yes, yes!
Here is THE recipe for homemade garlic butter:
- 125g softened butter
- 12 cloves of garlic
- 3 shallots
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 5 sprigs of parsley
- Salt, pepper
1. Peel and degerm the garlic cloves.
2. Peel the shallots, degerm them and cut them into small pieces.
3. Blanch the garlic cloves for 5 minutes in boiling water.
4. Drain them and mix them with the shallots, butter and oil.
5. Wash and chop the parsley.
6. Add it to the mixture and mix again.
7. Stop when you get a smooth paste.
And there you have it, you have made homemade garlic butter :-)
This butter stays fresh for 3 days in the fridge. But it can be frozen in portions and thawed when cooking your snails, fish, meat or simple sandwiches with salad.
