For 4 people - Preparation time: 10 min - Cooking time: 30 mins
- 5 to 6 courgettes
- 200g diced ham
- 180 g of rice
- 2 tablespoons heavy or semi-thick cream
- grated cheese
1. Preheat the oven to 180/200°C.
2. I put olive oil in the bottom of a skillet with high sides. And I dip my peeled zucchini in small slices or fine pieces.
3. I salt them right away and add the rice right away.
Courgettes release their water when cooked (thanks to the salt). And they cook the rice at the same time. If a little water is missing to finish cooking the rice, add a small glass.
4. When the rice is cooked, I drain.
5. In a gratin dish, I then mix the zucchini and the rice with the diced ham.
6. I distribute 2 nice tablespoons of thick or semi-thick cream, depending on what I have in the fridge.
7. I pepper, I mix.
8. Then I cover the whole thing with grated Gruyère so that it browns.
9. Put your gratin in the oven.
10. Heat it for 20-30 min.
And there you have it, you have prepared a delicious gratin that the whole family will love :-)
