A potato gratin recipe for the air fryer. Tasty and simple recipe for potato gratin to prepare in the airfryer, without too much work. Of course you can also prepare it in the oven, but since I want to use the airfryer more often -and not just for snacks and fries- I thought of putting this potato gratin in it.

This was my first time making this potato gratin and it was an instant success here at home. Potatoes are healthy and delicious. Especially if you prepare them this way. At least, that's the humble opinion of everyone here at home!
First make the mixture by mixing the witch's cheese, the Philadelphia and the cooking cream. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
Then set the airfryer to 190-200° to preheat.
Grease a small ovenproof dish that fits in your airfryer with some butter or oil. Start with a small layer of your mixture and place a layer of potato slices on top. On top of that again some of the mixture and then another layer of potato slices.
Continue in this manner until you finally have a layer of potato slices with some of the mixture on top. Sprinkle a good handful of grated cheese over that.
Your airfryer has now heated up, so you can put your dish in the airfryer. Set the timer to 20-25 minutes and then you have a delicious potato gratin recipe from the airfryer!
Since the temperatures can differ slightly per airfryer, it is smart to check the status of your delicious potato gratin in between, just to be sure. Is it too hard? Then put some aluminum foil over your dish, or lower the temperature of the airfryer.
You can combine this potato gratin recipe with anything, of course. We like to eat it 'simple' with steamed cauliflower or steamed broccoli and a piece of meat or fish.
Do you eat this potato gratin with cauliflower and do you have some cauliflower left over? Then make these delicious cauliflower nuggets from the airfryer the next day!
