Why ? Because you can make so many delicious recipes with it... And this Lime Garlic Shrimp Recipe is no exception.
When you have good shrimp, all you need are a few basic ingredients:garlic, honey, salt, cayenne pepper and a little fresh lime juice.
You can then serve these Honey Garlic Shrimp with pasta, noodles or lemon cilantro rice.
Personally, I served them with cream, garlic and parmesan fettuccine. And we had an absolutely delicious meal!
Preparation time :10 min - Cooking time :5 min
- 500 g shelled and deveined prawns
- 15 ml of olive oil
- 15 ml unsalted melted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 45 ml of honey
- 25 ml lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 3 pinches of cayenne pepper
- chopped parsley
1. Rinse the shrimp in cold water.
2. Wipe them well with paper towels and set them aside.
3. Heat a pan (preferably cast iron).
4. Pour in the olive oil.
5. Add the butter.
6. Put the garlic.
7. Sauté the garlic until it browns.
8. Add the prawns.
9. Cook the prawns, stirring them several times.
10. Then add the honey.
11. Pour the lemon juice over the prawns.
12. Add salt and chilli and mix well.
13. Cook the prawns until the honey-lemon sauce thickens.
14. Garnish with chopped parsley.
15. Serve immediately.
There you go, your shrimps with garlic, honey and lemon are already ready :-)
