With minimal prep, this quick and easy shrimp dish can be ready in minutes.
It's very simple:as soon as you have passed through the kitchen door, turn on your oven in grill mode, arrange the prawns in a dish and grill them.
You won't even have time to say phew that your dish will already be ready to be tasted!
The preparation upstream of this recipe is not very complicated either.
It consists of whisking together the ingredients of the marinade, adding the shrimp and letting them rest in the fridge, letting them marinate until ready to cook.
I love recipes that you can prepare in advance, especially when you have people over.
Here is the recipe for these garlic prawns ready in 5 minutes. Watch:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
- 6 garlic cloves, minced or grated
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 kg of large prawns, peeled (except the tips of the tails)
1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, chilli, black pepper, salt.
2. Add the prawns.
3. Stir well to coat the shrimp with the marinade.
4. Set aside and let marinate for at least 20 min.
5. Preheat the oven to the grill position at high temperature.
6. Spread the shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.
7. Place in the middle of the oven and broil for 3 mins until pink.
There you go, your grilled garlic prawns are already ready :-)

Note :if you want to marinate your shrimp longer, for example for a whole day, do not put the lemon juice in the marinade. Add it just before cooking the shrimp.
