Today I reveal my creamy garlic chicken recipe and lemon.
Tasty and very easy to make, it's ready in less than 25 minutes!
Perfect for saving an evening when you don't know what to cook.

- 4 beautiful chicken cutlets, about 1.5 cm thick
- 250 ml whole milk or cream
- 125 ml salt-free chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 15g unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves (or coriander)
- A few thin slices of lemon
- absorbent paper
- 25 cm diameter pan
Preparation: 5 mins - Cooking: 20 min - For 4 people
1. Dry the chicken thoroughly with paper towels.
2. Generously sprinkle the cutlets with salt and pepper all over the surface.
3. Heat the olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat until it becomes shiny and very runny.
4. Put the chicken in the pan and sear until nicely browned for 6 min.
5. Flip each cutlet and sear on the other side until nicely browned.
6. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside on a plate.
7. Lower the heat to medium and add the butter.
8. Once melted, add the shallot, garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
9. Add the flour and stir to evenly coat the shallots and garlic, and cook for 1 minute more.
10. Add the milk (or cream) and broth, stirring so as not to make lumps of flour. Be sure to look for the browned shallot and garlic pieces at the bottom of the pan.
11. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
12. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until the sauce is thickened enough to coat the chicken (about 3-4 minutes).
13. Add lemon juice to the sauce and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
14. Serve immediately.
