Do you know that there is a creative trick to prepare heart-shaped hard-boiled eggs?
The technique to transform a hard-boiled egg into a pretty heart is very simple.
Here is an image tutorial to concoct heart-shaped eggs easily. Watch:
- 2 rubber bands
- 1 wooden stick
- a piece of folded cardboard
1. Place an egg on each small carton, right in the middle.
2. Apply the stick to the egg, lengthwise, and press lightly.
3. Bring the edges of the card stock up towards the batting and bind both sides with the small rubber bands.
4. Let your egg sit in the fridge like this for several hours .
5. When you remove the stick and cardboard before serving, you get a hard-boiled egg in the shape of a heart...
6. The best is to cut it, to obtain two hearts with the yellow visible.
And there you have it, you have made a hard-boiled egg in the shape of a heart :-)
