Ingredients
Servings:10 cupcakes – Preparation time:40 minutes
For making the cupcakes:
– 140 g sifted all-purpose flour
– 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
– 7 g baking powder
– 220 g granulated sugar
– Pinch of salt
– 1 egg at room temperature
– 60 ml semi-skimmed milk
– 60 ml sunflower oil
– 2 tbsp vanilla extract
– 2 tbsp Nutella
– 10 Ferrero Rochers
For making the topping:
– 200 g butter at room temperature
– 200 g Nutella
– 75 g icing sugar
– 80 g hazelnuts, chopped and toasted
– 10 Ferrero Rochers
Preparation method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Mix all dry and wet ingredients for the cupcake separately and then combine them together. Place cupcake papers in all cupcake tins and fill them halfway with the batter. Then place a Ferrero Rocher in the middle of everything and divide the rest of the batter over it. Place the cupcake tins in the center of the oven for 25 minutes.
3. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let cool. Mix the butter, Nutella and icing sugar with a mixer until smooth. Spread a layer of cream over the top of each cupcake and then dip it in the hazelnuts. Then put another dollop of cream in the middle and place a Ferrero Rocher on top.
