GENERAL INFORMATION

Recipe for 4 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 whole unshelled shrimp
  • 1 piece of chorizo, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, peeled and diced
  • 1 green jalapeno pepper
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoon piquillo pepper puree or tomato puree
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 450g arborio rice or bomba rice
  • Saffron powder or pistil
  • Bouillon cube or shellfish broth or vegetable broth
  • Olive oil

PREPARATION

In a hot skillet with a little olive oil, sauté the shrimp.
Remove them then sauté the chopped garlic, bell pepper, green jalapeno pepper with a little olive oil in cubes, the pimientos del piquillos puree. Add the rice and mix. Pour in the vegetable broth and add the saffron.

Add the prawns, cook for 7 minutes then increase the heat to caramelize the bottom of the pan. Finish with the diced chorizo.
