Cuisine:favorite for the fresh pancakes of O11ze (“A pure delight!”)

Soft, hot, sweet, savory, rolled or folded... it's a fact, we love pancakes more than reason. And for good reason, how can you resist this simple taste that a slight addition of jam, sugar or cheese will amplify to the point of thrilling your taste buds. A real feeling of happiness that we have just rediscovered tasting the Breton galettes and crêpes from the crêperies O11ze.

Curfew:crepes from O11ze, the comfort dish par excellence!

Absolutely delicious Breton pancakes and pancakes all made with organic, fresh and quality products, carefully chosen directly in Brittany , and having favored the short circuit.
Also, while at the beginning of February we are living, despite the pandemic, in the sweet hours of candlelight, bringing home the tasty buckwheat pancakes by Régis Flagel or even his fresh wheat pancakes will certainly reconcile you with these (too) long winter evenings imposed on us by this damn pandemic.

Notice therefore to all those for whom this dish is sacred and who usually frequent Monoprix ; the O11ze offers, in several stores of the famous brand, its range of crepes and fresh galettes; so many love letters from Brittany sent to your stomach that will warm your mind and your heart.

Régis Flagel's recipe idea:the must-have Crêpe Suzette, revisited with tangerines!

Ingredients:

In addition to the fresh pancakes from O11ze, you will need (for 6 pancakes):

  • 100 g semi-salted butter(#doesnotsupportthebeurredoux)
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 6 tangerines
  • 2 lemons
  • A little Grand Marnier*

Preparation:

  • Squeeze the tangerines and lemons.
  • Prepare a syrup:caramelize the sugar at the bottom of a previously heated pan, add the mandarin and lemon juice.
  • Over low heat, once you get a light-colored caramel, melt the salted butter in the pan.
  • Flamé your preparation with a spoonful of Grand-Marnier.
  • Reheat your fresh crepe in the pan:heat it on each side for one to two minutes in your preparation.
  • Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream from Madagascar (and a bowl of cider*).

The O11ze, what is it?

Originally from Brittany, Régis Flagel, the founder of the creperies O11ze , opened its first creperie in 2013 at 11, Place de la Liberté, in La Garenne-Colombes.
Since then, four establishments in Ile-de-France, three franchises abroad (South Africa, Morocco and Italy), a Citroën tube food-truck from 1971, several ephemeral spots ("95 Champs-Elysées" in collaboration with Fouquet's) and a creperie in the heart of the Monoprix Montparnasse inaugurated in September 2020, allow the concept of the O11ze shine by combining traditional Breton products and food grown locally.
