Fig tart by Cyril Lignac:a simple, tasty and crispy recipe

But that was before, before chef Cyril Lignac sharing at the microphone of RTL his tip for not bothering with a dough. The solution:use brick sheets . Made of wheat flour, corn starch, water and salt, they are thin and very crispy when cooked. In a pie dish, just coat them with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and then layer them. It's an express pie crust which goes very well with figs!

The simplified recipe for Cyril Lignac's fig tart

To make a good fig pie with pastry sheetsyou need :

  • A bag of pastry sheets
  • 50g butter
  • Sugar
  • Tapioca flour
  • 10 fresh figs
  • Honey
  • A few pecans

Preparation steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Using a brush, brush the pastry sheets with butter then sprinkle with sugar.
  4. In a pie pan, layer the pastry sheets and pour a little tapioca on the bottom of the pie. The flour will absorb the juice from the figs.
  5. Wash the figs then cut them into slices. Arrange the figs on the dough, add a drizzle of honey and a few pecans.
  6. Bake your pie in the oven at 180° for 30 minutes.
