Here's a simple secret tip to keep them fresh for 3-5 days longer.
All you need is cling film.
To prevent your bananas from rotting quickly, simply wrap the stem of the bunch with it. Watch:
1. Cut a piece of cling film the size of your hand.
2. Wrap it around the stem of the bunch tightly.
3. Gently remove it and replace it each time you take a banana.
There you go, your bananas will keep for several days more than usual :-)
Simple, practical and effective!

If your bananas are already separated, you can use the same trick.
Simply put the cling film on the stem of each banana.
Bananas give off gas as they ripen.
It is this gas that causes them to blacken and rot rapidly .
And this gas escapes through the rods. So by putting plastic film on the ends of the rods, we prevent the gas from leaving.
And we slow down the ripening of bananas.
