Smoothies with pit

Throw something else in your blender than a banana and some strawberries. These summer smoothies contain vegetables and herbs for that little bit extra.

Spicy melon smoothie
Drink for 4 people – Preparation time 15 minutes

Ingredients
400 g watermelon pulp
200 g honeydew melon pulp
1 red pepper
1 banana
100 g raspberries
1 tsp linseed
1 tbsp finely chopped fennel greens
1-2 tbsp lime juice

Additional needed
Blender (or food processor/ stick blender with high mixing cup)

Get started
Cut the melon into pieces. Cut open the pepper, remove the seeds and roughly chop. Peel the banana and cut into slices. Place all ingredients with the ice cubes in the blender or mixing bowl and puree until smooth. Divide the smoothie between four glasses and serve immediately, possibly sprinkled with some extra linseed.
