Reindeer stew is a typical Finnish dish. This vegan version is perfect for dinner during World Vegan Month!

You can make the reindeer-friendly stew with the protein-rich Pulled Oats® from Gold&Green®. Garnish with pickle and berry jam to complete the classic dish. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Pulled Oats® Natural
  • Margarine or oil for frying
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • half tsp allspice grains
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Gherkins
  • Berry jam

Preparation method

  • Make mashed potatoes according to your own favorite recipe.
  • Heat the vegetable stock.
  • Heat margarine or oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the Pulled Oats®  and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add the stock and allspice to the pan.
  • Serve the stew over the mashed potatoes. Garnish with pickles and berry jam.
