This is a wonderfully fresh and savory salad that tastes really salty. And luckily you don't have to catch any fish. This salad also keeps well in your fridge for a few days.
What do you need for 4 people?
- 1 can of organic chickpeas
- 2 celery stalks
- 4 pickles
- 1 large tbsp capers
- 1 handful of sunflower seeds (toasted)
- 3 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 to 2 tbsp seaweed flakes (for sale at the health food store)
- juice of ½ lemon
- agave syrup (to taste)
How are you doing?
- Rinse the chickpeas and drain.
- Mash the chickpeas with a potato masher.
- Cut the celery and gherkins into small cubes.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and season with lemon juice, agave syrup and some salt and pepper.
- TIP:If you can't find seaweed flakes, you can also shred a nori sheet.
