The Caesar salad was born out of necessity. Italian chef Caesar Cardini didn't have enough for all his restaurant guests and combined what he had into a salad.
Ingredients for 6 people
Get started
1. Roll out the croissant dough, cut into 6 triangles and place on baking paper.
2. Cut the chicken breast into pieces of 2 cm thick and marinate with the Smokey herb &spice mix.
3. Top each slice of dough with a slice of bacon and a piece of chicken. Roll up the dough like a
croissant. Bake in an oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes.
4. In the meantime, boil the eggs (soft) and peel them. Chop the lettuce, place in a mixing bowl and
toss with the Caesar dressing.
5. Remove the 6 brunch rolls from the oven and place in a star shape on a board, put the salad, parmesan cheese, sliced eggs and
sun-dried tomatoes in the
center of the rolls.
