Who says back to school says return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, a Starbucks must-have, of which 200 million cups have been sold so far. The drink is the go-to comfort food in the fall:in the steaming cup, a Starbucks Espresso Roast, pumpkin pie flavored syrup, hot milk, whipped cream, cinnamon, walnut nutmeg and cloves. Yum ! The brand has decided to make this little wonder accessible to as many people as possible, which is why it will be marketing a vegan version from September 6!
The novelty will include a dairy-free syrup and customers will now be able to choose between oat milk and almond milk. Good news, right? Pumpkin Spice Latte or “PSL” as it is commonly known was invented by Peter Dukes in 2003 who was inspired by the taste of pumpkin pie followed by a sip of espresso. The traditional and vegan versions will therefore be on sale from 4€75 tomorrow in all Starbucks. Here's another reason to love fall!
