Frozé:here is the ultra refreshing and gourmet cocktail of the summer!

The Frozé is one of the flagship summer cocktails ! Straight from across the Atlantic, this beverage takes its name from the contraction of "frozen" and "rosé", the alcohol we mean. Clearly, it is neither more nor less than a granita with wine . So it's an ice drink , ideal for quenching your thirst and accompany your barbecues or aperitifs on hot summer evenings! And in addition to being delicious, it is very easy to make .

First, frost the rosé in the freezer for a few hours, at least six hours, then prepare a homemade syrup with strawberries and mix everything in a blender, adding the juice of a lime and lots of of ice cubes. Crushed ice is thus easily obtained, which is what makes Frozé.

The ultra easy frozé recipe

To make a very refreshing homemade frozé, you will need:

  • 1 bottle of rosé
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 1 glass of water
  • 250g strawberries
  • 2 lemons
  • Lots of ice cubes

How to prepare a delicious frozé?

  1. Pour the rosé into a container, close it and place it in the freezer for at least six hours.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, boil the water and sugar until the sugar grains melt.
  3. Wash and cut the strawberries. Incorporate them into the preparation and let it rest for thirty minutes. Your homemade syrup is ready. Reserve.
  4. Squeeze the lemons and collect their juice.
  5. In a blender, add the rosé (take it out of the freezer a little before so that the frosted block can easily be removed from the container), the syrup, the lemon juice and the ice cubes. Mix.
  6. Serve in a tall glass or wine glass and enjoy!
