For 4 persons
8 ready-made vegan bao buns
260 grams Pulled Oats® Natural (1.5 pack)
2 dl vegan mayonnaise
2 tsp gochujang or sriracha sauce
For the pickled vegetables
2 carrots
½ cucumber
4 radishes
4 tbsp rice vinegar
4 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
for garnish
coriander
chili pepper (sliced)
spring onion
sesame seeds
lime
1. Prepare the pickled vegetables first. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin pieces. Slice the cucumber and radishes. Mix the vinegar, sugar and salt together. Add the vegetables. Allow to season in a cool place while you prepare the rest of the dish.
2. Fry the Pulled Oats in a pan with oil for a few minutes.
3. Steam the bao buns according to package directions.
4. Stir the vegan mayonnaise and spicy sauce together to form a chili mayonnaise.
5. Top each bun with the Pulled Oats, pickled vegetables and chili mayonnaise. Top with coriander, chili pepper, spring onion and sesame seeds.
6. Serve with the remaining chili mayonnaise and lime wedges for squeezing.
