I love onions and I put them in all the dishes I I cook.
But it's big water every time I cut it.
Luckily I found a handy trick to stop crying.
What would good cooking be if onions and garlic didn't exist?
All the dishes would be really bland. The pleasure of eating good cooked meals is over...
The only problem, besides the smell of garlic on my hands which I managed to solve, is my eyes that run every time I peel the good onions.
1. Freeze onions 1 hour before cutting. This helps block the gas released by the onion during cutting.
2. The freezer bag . Just open the 2 ends of the bag and peel the onion inside. Super effective but watch your fingers!
3. The herb chopper . Use it to chop your onion effortlessly. Before putting it in your machine, don't forget to remove the skin , to cut the ends and cut it in halves .
With this, you are sure to finish without shedding a tear.
